| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run the Seti project because we are not alone. What someone dreamed yesterday is a reality today. Sure some things haven't worked out as scientists and astronomers have thought it should but with that came the questioning and with the questioning came new ideas that have tested true. I look at my lifetime and the technology explosion that has shaped my world and wonder at the possibilities for my children, grandchildren and all future generations to come. I look at the past and thank my grandmother who only had a limited education for the optimism and courage to reach out, to question, to dream and to touch the very fabric that is our universe. |
