| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. pure vanity. I hope we find ET's out there so I can say I was part of it. I'm a discovery channel nerd like that. :)
2. It's fun. That's really all it is to me, personally. Do I believe in ET's? Well, I think their existance and eventual detection is highly probable, but I keep some loving skepticism in the balance. Plus, if you were in their shoes, wouldn't you stay the hell away from Earth?
3. I suggest that you just keep on with the keepin on. I am the millstone, I only function when I've got material to grind away at. |
