Personal background
I am fifty two years old and I am retired. I have always understood that the misic of the skies was oftening deafening and that we need to learn to play the song it sings to each one of us at the rate which it was designed so that we can behold the greater picture of understanding of the whole. I love the fact that we have things like Hubble; to show us just what beauty lies in store for us when we learn to understand the whole as such. Like a flower without it's scent and colour is the universe without the beauty it contains without the misic which has been playning for all time. We need to find where we are in the song or video, learn to understand what we hear see and feel. Then we need to understand that in this great place there are many things Like in a garden or on a planet. Then think about what and how long it has taken us to think we understand the things on the one we live on, then think of all the creatures which communicate to one another here, and think of why we can't understand these, this will give us an idea of the distance we have to go before we can understand the wonders of the universe and all it contains within and then think of what lyes without in the dark place which we now know is as full and contains more than what we now understand as known matter. Like an unplayed song so beautiful that no one has yet devised the instruments have yet been cast, but if we stop learning, we can never know. Like fishing on a lake with unknown species a hook line and not knowing what to use or bait. First understand the lake then the water and the crreatures within, then can we look for what the species will be. But no time is taken from your life in a day of fishing, so should we think of this journey.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The development of understanding the Water on the lake and trying to figure out how to fish in unknown waters.
