| I'm 40 years old and currently serving in the USAF. I'm a part-time student studying engineering for a degree in electrical engineering. I work in the space operations career field in the AF as an enlisted person since 1984 (13 past years have been in space operations). I'm into electronics, video games, and science. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

A notice a friend of mine who lives in Denver was on the SETI at Home program. I checked it out and was intrigued with the idea. I've heard of it before from friends talking about distributed computing. So I installed it and been running it for over the equivilant of 100 days so far.
I love the fact, with my astronomy class I'm taking, that the Starry Night program links with it and that I can see on my computer where exactly in the sky that I'm processing data from.
