Profile: Fisches

Personal background
I was born in early 1983 in southern Germany. After 13 years spend in school and my states service finished I set out with a good friend and a backpack for 180 days to journy round the world (http://weltreise.dd.vu)
That was the first time I had a chance to have a look at the southern nightsky.
Now I am preparing myself for another 6 years at Uni, studying the science of electrotechnology.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
While starring at the stars I, as so many people, can't stop wondering if there is life out there, trying to communicate with us.
I guess there is only one way to find that out, to listen very hard.
Honestly I suppose there is only a very slim chance to find a signal of E.T. but as long as there is even the slimest possibility, we really should try.
I am glad that I can participate in this wonderful project and contribute to this search, as are so many of this worlds other inhabitants.
