Profile: KenZaske

Personal background
Boise, Idaho (USA)
Age: 49
Occupation: For the most part I guess I could be called a Data Analyst, however being a hardcore geek I like to think of myself as a professional geek. I have been a lot of different things in my life, from working in a car wash to jumping out of perfectly good helicopters.
My hobbies have pretty much gone by the way side the last few years because of medical concerns. I still enjoy walking in the wilds (no more hunting), fishing and computer games.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that extra-terrestrial life exists as a matter of course. There are too many stars in our galaxy alone to preclude their existence. Proving they exist is another matter all together. I first joined the SETI at home team way back in 1995, my poor old 486DX2-66 took almost two weeks to do a work unit. The Pentium 120 that replace it in 96 was little better.
