I think that extraterrestial life does exist, but I think it will be in vegetarian or bacterial form. I hope it can learn us how life at our planet started. We should take care that these organisms aren't hazardous for us.
I have no idea what kind of information we can send out, would it be understood?
I run Seti@home because it's a challenge to try to find traces of life and I think it's great to share my computertime for this good cause.
