Personal background
Hi everyone, i'm a biology student at Leiden University. In my spare time i'm trying to expand my knowlegde about the inner workings of computers and gaining a little experience with different operating systems. This is also usefull because i help people with their computerproblems.
Other interests of me are classical music, celtic music, the books of J.R.R. Tolkien and their background. 'The Lord of The Rings' is ofcourse a magnificent example.
Further i'm a proud member of the Seti@Netherlands group. A group with an indomitable spirit and great potential.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm very, very sceptical about life in outer space. Maybe the reason i'm still participating in this project is to prove we're wrong about the existence of intelligent life outside earth.

However, the idea that oridinary people can participate in a project like this to combine their computing power is very exciting! I think this is a big reason why i do Seti@home.
I also like to tweak my pc's so they crunch the maximum amount of wu's every day! This is obviously also good for my statistics. These you can find on the Seti@Netherlands homepage. http://www.seti-nl.org Please give it a look.
