Personal background
Howdy

I'm a history teacher at Mesa Community College and graphic designer in Mesa, Arizona. It's 114 degrees fahrenheit as I write this, but yes, it's a dry heat. I enjoy astrophotography when I can get the telescope to track properly. I also photograph the beautiful state of Arizona. I spent several years on the Altiplano of Bolivia, looking up at the Southern sky and contemplating if there is intelligent life in the universe. As a confirmed curmudgeon, I sincerely doubt the existence of intelligence here on earth.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home in the real hopes that SETI will find evidence of extra-terrestrial life. It's that simple.
