I run SETI@home because of the idle time my computer gets... may as well be doing something, huh?
My views of the project are simple... I'm not a freak about it, but perhaps there is life out there... it doesn't hurt to look, and its money well spent... better this than some government pork to save the North Atlantic spotted beaver, or something...
