Profile: Brian D. Landis

Personal background
Born in Alaska, raised up and down the west coast, and settled in Oklahoma. No wonder I speak with such a funky accent! ;)

I work in Human Resources at a large distribution center in Duncan, Oklahoma. Live with my wife and our many felines, which had started to outnumber the computers until I struck back and revitalized some old ones. ;) I like tinkering on PC's to keep my wheels turning, and getting old ones running helps me keep fresh when I need to work on PC's (a job I do on the side.)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why do you run SETI@home?
Because... what if? It's also kind of fun to watch the credit numbers go up... I've always been a real hooker for meters and progress markers.

2. What are your views about the project?
Wish it were funded on an official level; sad that there's no interest from humanity at large in a question so fundamental.

3. Any suggestions?
None yet! :)
