Born and bred in Western Australia, I am a Linux Systems Administrator for a large retail firm. In my spare time, I'm a Linux Systems Administrator for my wife's on-line art business :-)
I run a small SF/Gaming/Birding/Geocaching/Climbing/Food web-site at lympago.com, which also neatly encapsulates my hobbies.
I love to cook, invent, tinker, play, see plays, read, and sew. And I'm married.
You can often find me lurking on lympago, or at BoardGameGeek, or as Dread Pirate Rob on daysofwonder. I'm always up for a game of Ticket to Ride!

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run SETI@home because it not only gives us a chance to find out if we are alone, but also gives us a chance to examine phenomena that we might otherwise miss. And it is cool!
It is, still, something of a shame that there is still, after all this time, no screen-saver for the Linux version, though.
