| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I built this computer at Xmas, primarily to show that I could do it, and it works well. It's too expensive to sit around doing nothing, sot it might as well do somehting whilst I'm not around.
Given the number of universes, suns and planets out there, there are going to be some planets where life will evolve. Whether they are going to be like us is a difficult question, mankind has evolved according to the local conditions, so they won't necessarily have two arms, two legs a head and communicate by vocalisation.
