Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run seti because its such an easy way to contribute. Thats the lazy part of me. Honestly I used to turn my rig off every nite but now I let it crunch away. My 2.6 P4 zips through this stuff purdy fast so I enjoy seeing how much progress I can make. Like all men, I am simple and easy to please. Of course life exist beyond our planet. Believing it doesnt is quite honestly stupid. We all know that people that believe otherwise havent sat down and honestly pondered nature. Whatever can exist, does exist. Just because we cant see it doesnt mean its not there. (Just try to use that line to get me started on god!!)
