| I am 44, working for IBM in the UK Software Business. I am intrigued by the possibility of extra-terrestrial life (and strongly believe it is out there). I engage in sport (badminton and tennis) as well as cycling, and blasting around the locale on my Triumph Daytona 675 motorbike! |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I believe that there is life ou there! However, if we are looking to pick up signals from other life-forms, then my concern is that any signals we receive will be very old because of the length of time that such a signal would take to reach us. Any civilisation that may have broadcast hundreds or thousands of light years ago may no longer be around. I just hope that when other worlds pick up our signals in many light years time, we will still be here to greet them! |
