Profile: Kamil Leziak

Personal background
Hi, my name is Kamil, I'm a climatologist, working at the university. I conduct research on the influence of atmospheric circulation on the convection and storm development in Europe. In my free time I read lots of books (fantasy is my favourite genre) and take nature photos. Feel free to drop by my web gallery here.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I've been participating in SETI@home for many years and I think it's a great way to interest people in science. My adventure with SETI began in high school and continues ever since, this project gave me motivaion to pursue knowledge and extend my horizons. It made me like astronomy and visual observations of the night sky, not for searching UFOs, but for the pure pleasure of discovering beauty of the universe and objects in it. I don't know if we are alone in space, but I do believe Earth is not the only place where life exists. I'm sure that the big question "Are we alone in the universe?" will be answered sooner or later, maybe by SETI@home, maybe by other scientific projects, but one thing is certain: to find we need to seek first.
