My Name is Trey Dean. I was born in Houston Texas and lived there until I was about 10 years old. I then moved to Fort Worth Texas and live there until I joined the army. I am now stationed at Fort Knox Kentucky and I plan to return to Texas when my enlistment is up in May 2006. I have an associates degree in Health Science and I work as a Medical Lab Technician. When I return to Texas I plan to go to college and get a business degree and a technical degree in engineering or geology.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do beleive that extraterrestrial life exists. I think that it is more likely that extraterrestrial life exists than that it does not. I dont know if we should transmit a beacon for others to find. What if we contact an advanced hostile civilization. I know it sounds like alien invasion movies but it is possible. On the other hand we could contact a friendly civilization and they could take us under their wing. It is hard to say for me. I run seti@home because I guess I am just curious and I have a computer with a dedicated internet connection that I can share with the cause.
