Hello Everyone !!
I am a semi-retired executive based in Dallas, Texas. I am currently participating in a number of other projects including uFluids, Einstein, LHC etc.... Boinc is an excellant opportunity for the scientific community.
My primary system is a custom built tower with a DFI KT600 motherboard, AMD Athlon XP2900+ processor with a 400fsb, 1gb of memory, ATI 9800 video card, 30gb quanitum hard drive and a 20gb maxtor hard drive etc.... I have it plugged into a yamaha/technics/mitsubishi/marantz/proton component sound system including a nice 5.1 speaker system that has a 100watt 8" sub. Needless to say, it will crank up and shake the walls.
I spend most of my time dealing in older technologies... that is, the recycling of computer systems and vintage audio gear.
