Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have been a seti@home member since it was still in beta in 1999. I think there could be nothing more life changing or beneficial to the world than to discover life in the universe, and intelligent life even more so. Or it could backfire because the aliens want to harvest our blood to power their ships.
All of this has happened before, and it will all happen again.

In the future I wonder if SETI as a whole could direct some radio telescopes in the direction of any planets that have been found by Kepler? Especially any planets that might be in the stars habitable zone?
