I am 41 years of age, I live in Essex and I am a full-time carer looking after my elderly parents. I started to be interested in space exploration when I was six years of age, the year of the first moon landings in 1969. I have always been interested in the future of space exploration and astronomy. As a child I used to watch Sky at Night on the BBC channel.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home so that I can help in the bigger project of detecting alien signals from outer space.
The SETI@home project is a very worthwhile project and I wish it future success.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
