| Hi this is Steve,i'm 37 years old and I live in Erdington in Birmingham,England.I am currently unemployed,but I am seeking work and I want to get into I.T., to work as a Desktop Engineer.My hobbies are Astronomy,Computers,and listening to music(I listen to all sorts but mainly Heavy Metal and Goth).The reason why I got into Seti@home is because I have heard of the project for sometime and i've only recently got myself a broadband connection.I have often believed that there must be life on other planets,even before extesolar planets have been officially discovered.I think it will be only a matter of time when we will get a signal,and it would be great if more people join the project.I just think of all the computers in banks,building societies and other businesses that are running computers.It would be great if we could convince them that the project would just simply run in the background of their computers and it would not affect their work,and it would be great if we could harness all that computing power! |
