My home is Sydney, Australia. I currently work within the financial services industry. My father first introduced me to Carl Sagan when I was 12. I read his book "The Dragons of Eden" and this fostered my already developed beliefs that our existance on Earth cannot be viewed as the ONLY ONE possible.
I am pleased that a number of people with whom I have come into contact with recently (over the last 5 years) have also become interested in the Seti Program.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that science should be looking into the unknown as it did in the distant past. We need to look through the veils that we have drawn over our own eyes through the indoctrination of what has already been learned to be the "be all and end all".
Let us be brave enough to stand at the precipice and boldly step into the darkness, while remaining secure in the knowledge that we ARE advancing and stretching our own boundaries.
