Personal background
It all started around 1985 when I had my first encouter with what they called a "Personal Computer". It was at school and the thing was ugly and the color was green (really, no kidding), it looked a lot like what was later known as a TRS-80 Model III (but it wasn't one).

From that moment on I wanted to study informatics. The first thing I asked my parent when I got back from school was what I needed to do so that they would allow me to study informatics. They were not easy to convince but I'm was planning on giving up my idea so after some months... I started studying informatics.

In the meantime I've had several positions in IT and have a rather broad experience. Currently (from november 1998) I have a management position. This means that the only "hands-on" I get nowadays is at home. So all the free time I have is spend between the family, house and naturally my PC's (Crunching and casemodding are my favorite topics).

I am proud to be able to defend the colours of BOINC.BE, the biggest and best Belgian crunching team around the globe and beyond!
