Born in 1974 in a small town hospital in western Massachusetts, I am self-labeled as an “Audio Scientistâ€. I am currently working for a speaker manufacture’s R/D office and doing work on the side as a computer technician and sound operator. I play Flute, Saxophone and dabble with the Cello.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I like the idea that there are intelligent beings on other planets. I am sure that there are, the odds are too great for that to not be the case. I hope that any intelligent life out there that does come to visit doesn’t decide that we need to be squashed due to our ridiculous neglect of each other and our environment. I love my wife and my two children and I hope that we can find peace. This program at least shows that with some effort (and I am sure that some will say “a whole lot of effortâ€) we can pull together and cooperate.
Thanks to all the folks doing the hard work. Thanks even more to all the folks doing hard work for little pay. And thanks to all that let their computers work while they are not doing anything else with them. Kudos!!!!
