I was born in Mexico but living in San Jose California. I work in residential and commercial electrical and low voltage repairs and upgrades. I love building, modding, and upgrading PCs. My first PC was a pass me down Intel Pentium 1 200 Mhz MMX cpu with 32mb of ram on an Asus motherboard.
My favorite movies are Donnie Darko, Contact, The Cube, and The Thing.
My favorite PC games are the Silent Hill series, The Thing, and Doom 3.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I first found out about SETI@home while watching an episode of 'The Screensavers' On TechTV [now G4]. I quickly got online and volunteered my computers processing power to the coolest program, project, or task ever, the search for the truth. I later joined projects that focus on cancer research, aids, proteins and math.
As of August 2014 i am running BOINC on my Android Phone which has a dual core Qualcomm ARM CPU that i configured to run 100% of cpu time when plugged into a charger. To keep it cool and happy i modified a cheap 5 dollar protective case by cutting a 35mm round oppening close to the cpu and screwed on a Noctua 40x40x10mm fan model:NF-A4x10. I am able to power the fan and phone with a dual port usb charger since the fan runs at 5volts. As of September 2nd 2015 i am running BOINC on my Lenovo Y40-80 laptop with Intel i7 5500U CPU and Radeon R9 m275 GPU which i configured to run 100% of CPU and GPU time. To keep it cool and happy i removed all the plastic vent cover material on the intake as well as on the exhaust. I screwed on a third blower fan made by AC Infinity model: Multifan S2. It is a 140mm USB fan with a 4 inch by 1 inch outlet. It blows air across 3 Enzotech pin finned copper heatsinks which i attached directly over the CPU, GPU and Mosfet heatplates and heatpipes by using Arctic Silver Alumina 2 part Adhesive. My next step is to find and screw on rubber feet with a height of about 1 and 1/4 inches tall on each bottom corner. I love modifying my devices.
