Born in 1966 in Groningen. Went to University in Delft before I got caught by
IKEA. They employ me now for more than 12 years...
I now live in Terheijden, in the south of The Netherlands. Life here is good.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Convinced that we're not alone I joined Seti@Home from the get go. Dunno if we'll find
anything but not searching is not an option. Perhaps we're not ready yet. I do hope to see
the day we'll have succes. If not, it won't prove that we're alone. I see us as a small
and primitive 'civilisation' on some lonely planet in a silent corner of the universe. It will
take a 'Universal Columbus' to discover us. Let's just hope he likes to 'dance with wolves'.
Talking about movies: go and see 'Contact' after a story by Carl Sagan.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
