I'm a retired Banker 64 years of age. I have an MBA in finance, with a profound interest in the sciences. In college I had a double major in Pre-Med and foreign languages. After graduation, I entered banking with Chemical Bank of New York, but retained my interests in the sciences especially cosmology, physics and computer science. I've followed those interests ever since. My wife passed 12 years ago, so the computer has been my saving grace ever since. I play chess and a few card games.
I firmly believe that life exists throughout the cosmos, so I was naturally drawn to the Seti@home program. I think the creators of this program have done a terrific job of enabling the general public to become involved in this magnificent quest. |
