I'm 28 years old (not fifty), and into computers whole hog. It's also my profession and subject of study. I enjoy exercise and reading science fiction / fantasy. I read way too much.
I also collect elastic bands and have formed them so far into a ball 11 inches in diameter weighing 26lbs.

Why do I want to find aliens? I think they could open up alot of technological advantages which could potentially get us off the grid, and rid us of fossil fuel usage. If not them, then who? We sure don't seem to be getting around to it. Rather depressing isn't it? So you could say my search for extra terrestial life is my little holdout of hope for the human race.
Alternatively, we might find a malignent race such as Larry Niven's Kazin's, and if we ran into those guys... well, at best they could put us out of our misery!
Well, that's the end of todays allocation of entertainment!
