| Originally I am from the tiny but beautiful island of Malta in the Mediterranean Sea. I have been living in Ontario, Canada for the past 20 years. By trade I am an Avionics Aircraft Mechanic, however, I do just about anything. I am very active in sports especially kickboxing and gym workouts. My favourite subjects are Astronomy and Space Exploration. I love reading about ancient and present mysteries, UFO's and the paranormal. Zecharia Sitchin is one of my favourite authors and I strongly believe in his work and research. I have a passion for SciFi movies, although I still enjoy a good thriller or adventure movie. I run SETI@home because I believe we are not alone in the universe.
Views about the project:
The likelihood that other intelligent beings will transmit a signal to us is very slim. Who in his right sense of mind would want to contact a militant race like us? On the other hand, they are already here and have been observing us for hundreds of years. Yet, they keep their distance for obvious reasons. We are too primitive for them to make first contact.
Suggestions:
We should spend all our resources and concentrate entirely on our problems here on Earth first (God knows we have quite a few). When the right time comes, they will be the ones who will pick up the phone and call us.
