Personal background
I live in London now but I have done many things and been to many places.

I have been a home user computer buff for many a year and now I travel the world via the Internet.

As you will see from my picture I am no longer young, but know many things and secrets, and this is a comfort in ones later years, as I hope you will, or have, discovered.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
"I know you’re out there somewhere" said the Moody Blues in one of their songs and I think you are. To me, you who read this are 'out there'..... somewhere; so why not move the 'out there' boundaries a bit further.

As to the question of a beacon; well... I don't think we could create a bigger beacon if we all stood up and shouted together, than we already do with our activities on this planet

Why do I run seti@home? The future lies ahead does it not? We can seek for it, search for it, it may find us. That’s one small step for my computer, one giant leap for mankind - who knows?
