Yes I think extraterrestrial life exists.
I thinks they will come to us before we go to them, maybe we'll be ready, or maybe it such an event will cause us some trouble, but likely because of our inablility to understand them. Independance day was entertaining but I dont think it will prove realistic?
I think SETI are doing a good job and I think SETI @ home are helping, in a big way.
I am happy to be able to help in some small way
