Personal background
"Hi everybody.

I'm from Singapore and I work for the Government/Military. I'm now having my two computers: Fujitsu P-1110 and Apple G4 Cube (upgraded to 1Ghz!), both up and running "seti@home" program.

Hope there will be "seti@home" program that lets me run from my Palm Tungsten-T in the future!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That was so "yester-year"... I think the last time I penned that profile is back in 2001 or 2002... Sheesh...

Ok a bit of update, CAA 28th Jan 2008:

I'm still in Singapore and now reaching 31 years old. My interests are still computers and games (Wii, DS Lite and PSP Slim) and have my lovely wife and 3 great daughters to play around with.

Well, my Fujitsu is no more already and in it's replacement is a Mac 12" iBook. Upgraded with a 160Gb harddrive and 1.5Gb ram.

The Mac Apple G4 Cube is still around, but recently just went "kaput"... Suspected to be power vram failure... Non the less, planning for the next upgrade plan for it... (1.7Ghz Dual processor for my lovely Cube!)

Lastly, had this other desktop computer that's running on Windows XP. Recently just changed it's processor into Intel Core2 Duo E4600 2.4Ghz, from previously Intel Pentium D 3.0Ghz. Had 2 SATA drives totaling 480Gb, 2Gb ram and an Nvidia 8600GTS 256Mb video card...

Well, I've given up on Palm Tungsten and now are currently using both Nokia E61 and E90 for different work environments.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think "seti@home" is a real cool program as it acts as a tool for the general public to make it possible for anyone to participate in this great cause to search for extraterrestrial from outer-space with ease.

Yes, I believe that there are some life-forms/extraterrestrials out there in the far reaches in space. To think that we are the only intellectual life-forms on Earth in this part of the galaxy and beyond... I'm not buying it.

I believe "seti@home" is the only viable and cost-effective way to discover extraterrestrial's signals. I await the day when someone discovers an alien signal with eagerness.

Cheers! p(^.^)q

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The above statement still stands true... And I'm still waiting for that someone to first discover something extraordinary (Me!!!)...

All the best to Seti@home and many more years to come.

Cheers! p(^.^)q
