Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?

Because its and ideal way to utilise my spare cycles for a good cause. Although I appreciate the difficulties faced by our current methods its better to look than to do nothing.

Thoughts about ETI.

I think that there could be Intelligent life out there somewhere, however given the distances involved we won't meet them in our lifetime unless they come to us.

Views on the project.

Kinda chilled about some of the "issues" that have happened in the past as I've been running the project for quite some time now. Under resourced, the cheating farce from SETI I spring to mind as negatives. Positives - just that fact that the project is being run. Getting an Email from the BBC about a candiate signal that I found was quite cool.
