Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do I think extraterrestrial life exists? That's a good question.
It's hard to really know, isn't it? I mean, the universe is so freakin' big, that there is more than likely going to be some form of life somewhere else in the universe, it's just a question of how intelligent it is. Also, if they are sending signals, we will probably have to wait a very long time before they reach our planet.
I was actually thinking to myself, that maybe aliens are actually humans who are time travelling from the future. It kind of makes sense, because:

- If they are humans, from thousands of years into the future, they would be much more evolved than us, biologically, technologically.

- This would explain humanoid extraterrestrials. I mean, why would a being from an entirely different planet look so similar to our species?
- Their (our) technology (far into the future) would be far more advanced, and they may have invented the technology to time travel.
- Our planet is always moving through space... around the sun, the solar system is moving around our galaxy, and the galaxy is also moving. So if the aliens are time travellers, they would have to get back to this planet by travelling through space. This explains why they visit us in space ships.
- If the aliens are time travellers, it may explain why we don't receive any radio signals from them. Because they do not exist in our time.

It's pretty far out, and it's just a theory. And I don't believe time travel is possible, any way. But there you go.
