Husband. Father. Policeman. Soldier. Kinda sums up my life as it stands now. Nothing special except the deep desire to server my God, my Family and my Country. Kinda cliche' eh? Try getting blown up by IED's and getting shot at for 12 months. That'll change your perspective on life. I've been criticized by (former) friends and co-workers for jeopardizing my comfortable life style and for possibly leaving a family behind. It's for my family that I want to help with a secure future. I've made my bit of history ... what have you done for your God, Family and Country lately?
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why do you run SETI@home? -- Because I'm not naive enough to believe that we are the only life God has created.
2. What are your views about the project? -- What a great way to improve on the governments failed attempt: take it private and use the genius of DC.
3. Any suggestions? -- Market this a bit better. Show some results to the world or at least checkpoint status of what you've done, how much you've done and how much more we have to do.
