I am the Compliance Manager for a securities company. My "supervisor" was imposed upon me as punishment. Using their PC & DSL connection is a small giveback. ;)

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ET does exist statistically I think. Hey I took logic on College too! I believe that all current technology stems from ET (ie we've had SOME form of contact). Which explains the swift and MEASURED advancements we've had for the last 60 years as opposed to the last 6000. Slow & steady.
Just in case my zany thoughts are wrong, I want to help find ET via SETI.
My only suggestion is to mount a receiver on Hubble. Heard it's abandoned like a Chevy Nova in the Bronx. ET is probably stripping it now.
