Profile: Stefano Freiesleben Sias

Personal background
Stefano is 29 years of age, and a resident of Denmark, in the European Union. Stefano studies at the University of Copenhagen, which is Denmarks largest and oldest university. Being a great fan of Star Wars (tm) and Star Trek (tm), he likes movies about the extra-terrestrial and extra-ordinary. He runs his SETI@home client on a 750 MHz overclocked PC and spends a lot of time in front of the screen, every day. He has SETI@home running on his computer at all times.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Stefano appreciates the current efforts of the SETI@home team (which covers all the participating parties) in trying to find extra-terrestrial intelligence. He is fascinated with the creative and groundbreaking idea, fostered by SETI@home, to use the internet and personal computers, as a giant supercomputer, crunching numbers at lightspeed. Stefano is extremely positive to the possibility, that there may be extra-terrestrials out there, trying to contact us. His motto is, 'all it takes is a sense of vision, confidence, a lot of hard work, and a little love, to reach your goals' - and he believes, that the SETI@home project is a token to the efforts of so many people, willing to sacrifice a little of their computer power, to help up the odds at finding E.T. a friend on planet earth. Finally, he wishes the best of luck to everyone involved in the SETI@home project. God bless you all.
