I work as an electonics/instrumentation technician at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center. I am assigned to the Systems Research Aircraft - (SRA). The SRA is a pre-production two seater F/A-18B. Our bird is fully instrumented, and we routinely fly experiments for Dryden, and private sector customers. We are currently supporting the Autonomous Formation Flight project.
I am working on a AS degree in electronics technology.
Currently, I run setiathome-303i386-winnt-cmdline version, with SETI Driver to increase my CPU priority. I am using an AMD 1 GHz Thunderbird CPU, overclocked to 1425 MHZ, and 640 meg of PC133 RAM.

I find the idea that we are the only intelligent life in the universe quite laughable, although, I think the chances of finding it may be beyond astronmical. I support SETI with my idle cpu time mainly for this reason:
Why not? My computer is on all the time anyway. |
