I am a computer engineer and part time IT tech at the University of Evansville, in Evansville IN. I enjoy building and working on PCs, programming, and being with my wonderful girlfriend who allows my other hobbies to go on ;) I plan to have a SETI@home cluster by the end of this year.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
---
I KNOW that there are a hell of a lot of stars out there taking up a lot of space. It is hard to believe that in all of that space there is only one life form (humans) that can conceive of space travel and communication, let alone exist. I hope that there is extraterrestrial life, and that someday we will be able to communicate with them. Maybe they can teach us how to life in peace and stop destroying our planet, since we can't seem to figure it out on our own.
