Personal background |
I'm an Australian anthro wolf who has an engineering and computing science degree. I'm in my late 20's and dream of a time when people will be in space.
I an currently the head person for team FurSETI and I am striving to expand the team to help the SETI program. |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1. Why do you run SETI@home?
I run SETI because it's a good way to keep my computer busy and I have the view that we will find something useful.
2. What are your views about the project?
I think that the search for SETI is good and maybe within this century we'll find that long awaited signal, or maybe just find several Earth like planets and try to make contact (EDIT: Since writing this in early 2000s... yay, we're finding Earth like planets!). Either way, it'll still be good science if we don't find that 'signal'. There will be many discoveries made on the way which I know will be put to good use. |
