Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes. Who knows when... the benefits are we then know we are not alone and the creationists have something else to think about. The dangers are we are not alone and we get to find out what living in a universal neighborhood is like.
2. We already are. We send lots of RF out. I think we send plenty of info out.
3. I run it because it is a good cause to donate CPU cycles to. I wish the powers that be, would give out more information. PR could use more work.
