Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it?
--I do think extra-terrestrial life exists and that they will reveal themselves to us in the next 100 years or so once we solve a few more of out internal problems (famine, war and the like).

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
-- We already been sending out beacons for 50+ years now -- our television and radio signals have reached every star within 50 light years of Earth and they probably cant wait for us to grow up as a race and stop polluting the RF spectrum. :)

Why do you run SETI@home?
-- Because like us any race that is out there had a primitive technological period hopefully and maybe we might come across their signals.
