I am originally from Sacramento,Ca. Served 4years in the U.S. Navy during desert storm. Became a truck driver for 10 years. Decided that I wanted more in a career so I went back to school to become a network engineer in cisco systems. I like just about anything that's outdoors (fishing, camping, ect).
I think astrophysics and anything beyond this world is very interesting.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that there is life other than on Earth because the odds greatly favor this possability. I hope to witness first contact with another life form because it will definately be the talk of the century. I decided to be part of the S.E.T.I. program because I am a scientist at heart but lack the tools.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
