| I had been living in Victoria, BC for about 30 yrs, now I'm in Kelowna. I have changed careers. After 34 yrs in the electrical field I've followed a 16 yr passion/fascination/frustration with computers and taken formal training in IT. Enjoyed the position of Net Admin at the Faculty of Science (University of Victoria) computer lab. Lots of other short term projects, but as the work situation has changed to Contractors doing most of the work I find myself less motivated to work directly in the field. I think I will need to look at computer sales at Staples/Future Shop, do a little computer tech work. |
