Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think ET exists. Highly unlikely in this huge universe we are all alone. I suppose it could be, but just logically it doesn't seem so.

Should we transmit a beacon. Little late for that question as the first signal they will get will be the Munich Olympics, so if the answer to this question is yes, then we are too late by 50 or so years I think, the message we send today has a long way to go and the lead signal has a hell of a lead.

I run Seti at home and at work just simply because I want to believe. And hell the PC is sitting there idling anyway, why not let it be used. The knowledge of mass processing that is being learned from Seti could be put to other uses like mapping DNA, or finding a cure for cancer. So I think it is a good cause!

Anyone wishing to join my group, SpockSearchers can join up. Would love to have more team members!
