Personal background
Hey, how are ya? I'm a 22 year old Kansan. I have a couple computers doing a couple of distributed computing projects. Right now i have my pretty RS/6000 running on the 'folding experiment, but that's only because that experiment has a better chance of yeilding some results before i die. But don't worry, I'm fair. I've got a new RS/6000 on the way, and as soon as i get it, it'll be running Seti. I'm also trying to get ahold of some older computers to build a nice Linux cluster, and see how many Work Units i can pump out in a day.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
When i think about it, i don't really think that we'll find anyones signals by just randomly sweeping the sky. More likely, someone will bounce back one of our own signals, like that movie/book Contact. I just wanna help, maybe if i ind them, i'll get to name them. I think i'll call them Golgothains, just for fun!
