Personal background
I received a BS in Psychology in 1967 and immediately went to work in the Personnel/Human Resources field for a worldwide retail orgainzation. I earned a MA - Human Resources in 1991.

I have been an Amateur Radio operator since 1959. I earned the Advanced Class license in 1968 and an Extra Class license about five years later. At that time, my main interest was in CW. While I haven't been very active on either CW or phone for the past twenty years, I continue to use 2M as a means of staying in contact with other hobbiests.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
To me, it is abuntantly clear that extraterrestial life exists! Of course, it may or may not be what we humans refer to as intellegent. There are billions of galaxies in the universe. Ours is but one of them. Each galaxy has millions and millions of suns. Ours is but one of them. Each sun may have one or more planets orbiting them. Ours is but one of them. Each planet may or may not have life on it.

On our planet there are millions and millions of life forms.

Aw come on now, how egotistical and/or naive can we be to believe that we are the only life in our solar system, our galaxy, the universe?
