| We are excited to be participating in what could be one of the most signifcant human endeavors of all time. We are Americans working and living in Kenya East Africa helping to improve conservation of wildlife outside parks. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

We believe strongly that life exists outside of the earth. I suspect that it will be discovered through a program like SETI. The possibility of real face to face contact with an ET is exciting but probably not very realistic given FTL limitations.
The main reason we would send a beacon is to clear up any missunderstandings on the part of ET that might have been caused by them viewing such classic tv shows as Starsky and Hutch, Good Times, Six Million Dollar Man, Roseanne, Gilligan's Island, and of course the A-Team.
This is a great project. Just by downloading some software we are participating in a project that could change the way we look at the universe and our place in that universe. |
