Personal background
Citizen of Denmark, Scandinavia. Living in the city of Frederiksberg (located like a "Vatican" inside Copenhagen)
with my wife (Lotte Faurbæk, Ph.D.) and working as subject specialist in physics and astronomy at Copenhagen University Library (the Royal Library) and as a researcher in astrophysics at the Niels Bohr Institute at Copenhagen University.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe the SETI project, and projects of a similar nature,
to be one of the most important undertakings of the
human race (and all other races as well, of course).
If we would prosper in the efford to seek out new life and
new civilizations, it would surely be the greatest revolution that man could ever be a part of. Infact I am confident that we will be successfull, if we manage not to ``blow ourselfs up'' in war or waste. In other words: give peace, and the environment a chance, and live long and prosper!
