Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that extraterrestrial life exists in the universe. It is best said in the movie Contact: If there is no extraterrestrial life out there then that is a big waste of room. We will discover E.T.'s and when we do we will say to our selfs: Why didn't we find then sooner? The danger in finding E.T.'s will be that it will chanche the way we have to think about how everthing works and what our roll in it is.

Who is to say that we are not the E.T.'s who are just visiting this world and forgot how to get home.

Human's are sending already signals into space from as early as the late 1930's. We are doing it in the form of television and radiosignals. And let's not forget the Voyagerspacecrafts that are already outside our know solarsystem.

The main reason why I'm running SETI@home is that I've always had a thing for space and everthing that comes with it. And I find it fasinating that a homecomputer could be used to find E.T.'s
